6/21 Chuncheon - Potato oh my Potato

Craving crisp air, quirky bites, and nature that feeds the soul? ๐Ÿฅ”๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿšถ‍โ™€๏ธ
Let's roll into Chuncheon again - this time for a cozy adventure with a twist of tuber-powered charm and forest magic.

We kicked off the morning at Gamja Bat Café, a hidden gem where potatoes reign supreme.

This isn't your average bakery - we're talking pillowy soft gamja bread, golden hash pies, and creamy potato lattes (yes, really).

We happened to land during the Potato Festival, and the place was buzzing with warm vibes and even warmer carbs. ๐Ÿฅ”๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿž
Live music, DIY potato art station, and heaps of freshly dug spuds? Count us in.

Fueled by starchy goodness,

we made our way to the Gangwon-do Arboretum, a lush escape tucked into the mountains.

Trails wind through forests like a living fairy tale -

think pine canopies, wildflowers, and crisp mountain breezes. ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿƒ

It's peaceful but never boring -

perfect for a mindful stroll or a quiet picnic under the trees.

Next stop: Chuncheon's riverside promenade,

where the Bukhan River sparkles in the sun and the pace slows way down.

We wandered past cozy cafés, watched paddle boarders glide by, and dipped our feet in the cool water. ๐Ÿšฒ๐ŸŒŠโ˜•

The whole area hums with laid-back energy - part nature retreat, part artsy escape.

For our last thrill of the day, we circled back to the 248 Sairo - because it's just too good to skip.

The Skywalk? Still a glass-floored rush.

The Swing Bridge? Still makes your heart skip a beat (in the best way).

And that view? Always worth the climb. ๐Ÿž๏ธ๐Ÿ’ซ๐ŸŒ‰

As the sun dipped behind the hills, we watched Chuncheon glow golden—the kind of light that makes you linger just a little longer.
